Chalkpit Lane Stables

Chalkpit Lane Stables is a small, friendly yard situated in the Green Belt of Surrey. It is a family-run yard and we all work as a team. Myself (Barbara), supported by my daughter Nicola, together with our excellent staff, are all dedicated to providing the highest quality livery services in friendly surroundings — and, living on site as we do, we offer 24-hour supervision for your horse.

Our clients enjoy easy access to excellent hacking. We are situated on a bridlepath, so no roadwork is required — just go out of our gate and follow a network of tracks over Surrey's Commons and Downs.

For those who wish to compete, there are a number of show centres within easy reach. Pachesham, Royal Leisure, Vicarage Farm, Merrist Wood, Pyecombe and Hickstead, among others, are all within one hour's drive.

We have a yard farrier, dentist, vet and chiropractor, but you are very welcome to use whoever you wish. A number of trainers come to the yard, and of course you are welcome to bring in your own.
